Do influencers exaggerate their income to appear more successful than they are?
The money flexing seems to be part of the influencer lifestyle now. But when creators pretend to live above their means, it can mislead followers and create unrealistic expectations. Some influencers have even been exposed for fake wealth rented mansions, borrowed outfits, staged photos.
Theres nothing wrong with success, but pretending to have more than you do can put pressure on both creators and fans. Plus, it often spirals into drama when the truth leaks.
