I have seen some unknown spots on phone screen that don't exist before. I initially thought it was dirt or fingerprints, but I couldn't get them off. In my case, it began when the phone got overheated while charging. This is also said to be caused by pressure damage, moisture or display panel problems. When the spots continue to increase or color, it may be an indicator that the screen needs repair or replacing before becoming totally unusable.
