U4GM Reveals GTA 5 Bunker Bonuses and Discounts
|
If you've been meaning to get into Gunrunning, this week is the kind of window people wait for, because the Lago Zancudo Bunker is free for a limited time through Maze Bank Foreclosures, and if you want to save yourself a pile of cash, you can buy GTA 5 Money for the rest of the setup later on. For a lot of players, that alone makes the event worth checking out.
The bunker itself is a permanent property once you claim it, so you're not just grabbing a temporary perk. You'll unlock stock production, research, sell missions, and the whole steady-money loop that bunker owners rely on. It is not the flashiest location on the map, and some people still prefer other spots for easier delivery routes, but free is free. That changes the mood a bit.
What stands out this week
There's more going on than just the property giveaway, and that's where the event gets interesting. If you already own a bunker, or you're planning to build one out after claiming the free one, the bonus payouts can make the grind feel a little less painful. The challenge is knowing what's actually worth your time.
Bunker Sell Missions pay 2X GTA$ and RP.
Bunker Research Missions also pay 2X GTA$, RP, and Research Progress.
Bunker research runs at double speed, which is a big help if you hate waiting.
The Ammu-Nation contract pays 2X GTA$ and RP for excess weapon parts.
If you're logging in anyway, the smart move is pretty obvious. Grab the bunker, check the discounts, then put a little time into research or sales before the week rolls over. A lot of players skip bunker work because it feels slow. With these boosts, it stops being such a drag.
Discounts and small wins
The event also trims the price on bunker upgrades and modifications by 40 percent, which is exactly the kind of discount that matters if you're trying to make the business pay off. Other bunkers are discounted too, but most players who don't own one should probably just take the free Lago Zancudo spot and move on. No need to overthink it.
There are a few extra freebies mixed in as well. The High-End Garage is free through July 13, and the Firework Launcher and Musket are available from the Gun Van without costing anything. The Gun Van stock also includes a few heavy hitters, so it's worth a quick look if you like picking up odd gear when it's available.
If you're the type who likes to stack rewards, the weekly challenge is easy enough to understand. Finish three Bunker Research Missions and you'll get the Blue Jock Cranley Jumpsuit plus GTA$100,000. That's not life-changing money, but it's a decent bonus for doing stuff you might have done anyway. For players who want to keep things moving, the free bunker is a nice base to work from, and adding Grand Theft Auto 5 Money to the mix can make the rest of the event feel a lot less grindy.v |
